Veteran’s Day is a day dedicated to all those who have served and are currently serving their/our country in all branches of the military. Well Applebee’s wants to thank all those in the military both past and present with a free meal today November 11th, 2010.
Applebee’s wants to invite all veteran and active duty military to come in enjoy a meal on the house. All military members are able to choose from a select menu featuring meals such as steak, shrimp and three cheese chicken penne. In order to take advantage of this special thank you all veterans and active duty members are required to show proof that they are serving or have served in the military. Examples of proof include:
ü U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card
ü U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card
ü Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
ü Photograph in uniform
ü Wearing uniform
ü Veterans Organization Card
ü (i.e., American Legion and VFW)
ü DD214
With many feeling that a thank you is just not enough, Applebee’s is doing its part to say more than just thank you. In honor of all those who have bravely served that United States of America Applebee’s not only gives its thank but says come in and enjoy a meal on us.
