Palmer Gas/Ermer Oil, a service oriented Southeastern New Hampshire company that supplies Fuel Oil, Propane Gas, all types of gas heating equipment and gas appliances, recently organized and conducted its Seventh Annual Safety Day for all their employees as well as for important local and statewide safety organizations. The extensive Safety Day training sessions focused primarily on keeping employees, customers and response personnel safe. As part of the company’s commitment to safety, This program is mandatory for all employees, promotes awareness and provides training sessions on safety at both home and at the workplace.
A full range of programs provided by various participants for Safety Day included a Youth Car Safety Seat demonstration presented by the Londonderry Police Department, a presentation on the effects of DUI by Trident Insurance and a discussion about Homeland Security and the threats to fuel storage centers from a representative for the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office. The day was closed out with a discussion regarding trucks and hazardous cargo transportation by a New Hampshire State Trooper and representative of the New Hampshire Motor Transport.
